Getting started with Press

This is the Boo Press workspace. A press artifact is a single, versioned briefing document. It can be a live interview prep, a recorded-media prep, a reporter response, a press-monitoring note, or a competitive-intelligence digest, all generated by Boo from your real company context. This page explains how the app works. It is the only document here until real artifacts are created; nothing on it is invented.

What a press artifact is

Each artifact is one document with a stable identity, a title, a type, tags, and a source list. It carries its own provenance (who requested it, when it was created and updated) and its own access controls. You browse artifacts from the index and open one to read it as a leaf page.

The artifact types this app supports

• Live interview prep: talking points and hard-question preparation for a live, on-the-record conversation.
• Recorded media prep: scripts and preparation for recorded formats such as podcasts or video segments.
• Reporter response: approved statements and background context drafted in reply to a specific press inquiry.
• Press monitoring: a log of coverage as it appears, with a record of tone, accuracy, and follow-up actions.
• Competitive intelligence: notes and digests tracking what competitors and the wider market are saying.

How the index, leaf, versioning, and sharing model works

Index and leaf

The index lists every listed artifact with search and faceted filters computed from real entries. Each card links to a leaf page, the full document, with its metadata bar and tags rendered from the typed entry rather than written into the body.

Versioning

Every artifact keeps a labelled revision history (v1, v2, and so on). You can address a specific version with a ?version= query parameter, and an unknown or stale version resolves to the latest instead of dead-ending. Rollback is non-destructive: restoring an older revision republishes its content as a new revision, so history is never lost.

Password-gated sharing

Each artifact has a visibility setting (public, private, or password-protected). A password-protected artifact, and any external share link, is gated by a password so it can be handed to a reporter or partner without exposing the rest of the workspace.

Where the content comes from

Boo generates these artifacts from your real company context, your spokespeople, your messaging, and real coverage. It never fabricates people, outlets, quotes, or coverage. Every generated document ends with a sources section naming what it was built from.
